SHE Project - Spreading Health and Empowerment
The SHE Project — Spreading Health and Empowerment — is a compassionate initiative that embodies care, dignity, and awareness. It is driven by the vision of creating a healthier and more confident community of young girls and women within our institution.
Under this project, students have taken a commendable step toward the production and distribution of eco-friendly sanitary napkins within the school premises. This not only ensures accessibility and affordability but also promotes a message of self-reliance and sustainability.
Beyond production, the SHE Project aims to break the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation. Through interactive awareness sessions, demonstrations, and discussions, the project reaches out not only to students but also to the female support staff and maids working in the institution. The napkins were distributed to the females of an NGO so that the project can be promoted beyond the institution. These sessions provide them with essential information about menstrual hygiene, safe disposal practices, and the importance of regular health care — all delivered in an atmosphere of respect, empathy, and inclusion.
The SHE Project stands as a shining example of social responsibility and women's empowerment, transforming our school into a space where every woman — regardless of age or background — feels informed, valued, and supported.
By nurturing awareness and action, the SHE initiative continues to remind us that true education goes beyond textbooks — it inspires change, compassion, and confidence.
