Sunbeam Suncity Successfully Organises LEVEL UP | Inter-School eSports Event Supported by ESFI & MEAI

Participation of 17 Schools and 170 Students from Eastern Uttar Pradesh

Sunbeam Suncity successfully hosted LEVEL UP – The Inter-School eSports Challenge & Workshop on 27th and 28th December 2025, marking one of the largest school-level eSports events in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The two-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 170 students representing 17 reputed schools from the region.

The inaugural ceremony on 27th December was jointly conducted by Mr. Harsh Madhok, Honorary Director, Sunbeam Group, Mr. Ashish Rai, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Sandeep Mukherjee, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Mrs. Archana Singh, Principal, Sunbeam Suncity. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Piyush Bathla, renowned eSports caster and commentator, who interacted with students and highlighted emerging opportunities and responsible participation in the eSports ecosystem.

Competitions were held across popular titles including Valorant, BGMI, FIFA, Mortal Kombat, and Chess, where students showcased strong strategic thinking, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Apart from all the Sunbeam Schools, Little Flower House and Sant Atulanand Convent School performed extremely well.

Supporting Organisations

The event was organised with the support of the Esports Federation of India (ESFI) and the Media & Entertainment Association of India (MEAI). The programme was co-hosted by Banaras Anime Club, with its head Mr. Ansh Khatri present during the event. The initiative was also supported by event sponsors.

The Closing and Prize Distribution Ceremony on 28th December 2025 was graced by Dr. Deepak Madhok, Chairperson, Sunbeam Group, and Mrs. Bharti Madhok, Vice Chairperson, Sunbeam Group, who presented trophies and certificates to the winners and congratulated all participating schools and students for their spirited participation.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasized that eSports is rapidly emerging as a structured and promising career pathway, encouraging students to pursue it with discipline, balance, and a learning-oriented approach.
