Sunbeam Gramin School, operated by the Sunbeam Group of Educational Institutions, is a fully free-of-cost school. This school represents a collective effort to connect rural children with education.
Established in 2002-03 with 20 students, this school now provides free education to 800 students. It has received recognition from the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education for classes up to Class 8. The school provides students with free textbooks and school uniforms.
The school has made significant efforts to promote education in rural areas. To introduce children to the nation's cultural history, educational tours to historical places are organized every year. In addition, the school offers computer education to connect students with the field of information technology. Currently, 8 computers are in use.
To enhance students' knowledge, the school has a well-equipped library with over 2,000 books. For sports, students are provided with skipping ropes, badminton, and basketball facilities, contributing to both their physical and cognitive development.
The school's students are currently pursuing higher education in institutions like BHU, BITS, and Delhi University. Along with academic growth, the school provides vocational education, including sewing, embroidery, painting, and crafts. Several workshops are also organized for comprehensive development, focusing on topics like nutrition and creative writing.
In 2013-14, 96% of students from Class 8 and 95% of students from Class 5 achieved first-division results, enhancing the school's reputation. Additionally, students actively participate in various social activities, such as Clean Village Campaign and Awareness Drives, setting examples for social responsibility.
