Evolving Schools

With the ever-changing world and times, many times we find ourselves standing at crossroads where we find the younger generation smart than us but year 2010 was a yoker
It is only after Covid, do we see what we never fatham. It brought education across the world to a holt but we humans have an innate quality to innovate so the landscape of education changed.
The technology became talk of all discussions and forum.
Covid times also made us realise that rote learning is not the way forward but it is time now we change our pedagogy and start preparing students for future.
My vision for my school is to
* Understand the use of technology in education
* Bring teachers at a platform where we can understand the world students live in
* build skills in students to deal with ever changing and dynamic world
* Practice Patience
• Help leveraging technology but stay original
* Provide spaces where they can share
As a leader, it is important to understand where kids are coming from, what they struggle with, what type of content they are seeing and it is possible only when we are updated about latest trends, music ,fashion so that we understand the language kids speak.
School is no more merely a place to acquire knowledge but it's function and purpose has changed with times.
Let us understand what school means for students and parents in today's times:
* School is a place to make friends for students
* It is a place to feel excepted
* A place to explore the unknown
But for parents, school is
* A place to boost confidence
* A place to learn skills
* A place where they find their abilities
So it is essential for educators to focus on emotional connect both with parents and students.
Plan school routine to channelize their energy by providing opportunities to work on projects that promotes field trips and conducting survey.
Also it's time that we utilise technology constructively rather than being in denial of it's impact on future jobs requirement.
It is rightly said," Change is constant. Once who adapt survive rest perish".
