The most awaited event of the month -Abhyuday'19 was held today i.e. on 2nd August, 2019 in Resonance.
Giving an auspicious beginning to the programme, the dignitaries along with Chairman- Dr. Deepak Madhok and Director- Mrs. Bharti Madhok placed earthen lamps at the tulsi vedi.
The Junior school orchestra presented a musical presentation based on Raag Jog, compelling the audience to be mesmerised by the skill shown by the tiny mavericks. Thereafter, a classical presentation on Alarippu- a dance style of Bharatnatyam was presented by the performing art students of classes XI and XII. The syncronization and fluidity of moments capturing every mudra in its authentic form, left the audience in awe of the presentation.
Soon-after, the little Kids of junior school gave a futuristic version of krishna in their musical called Robomania.
Mrs. Sarita Rao, the Vice Principal of the school welcomed all the new entrants mentioning that according to the Indian Culture, a new member in family is welcomed warmly with celebrations.
MargDarshak- An act depicting the importance of a Guru in a Shishya's life, quoted historical references to lay emphasis on the impressions a guru leave on its pupils.
An AV with innocent smiles of the junior school kids, proved that Suncity Varanasi is an apt place for a child to be! Not only the children get an opportunity to be closer to nature but also the learning environment orients them towards 'learning while having fun'.
The Hostel Report by Mr. Ashish Rai- COO, Sunbeam Group along with Head Boy- Mr. Eshitva Prakash and Ms. Medhavi Dhawan, highlighted the various aspects of the school and it's achieved in the year gone by in detail.
The highlight of the show was 7 freshers showcasing their talent on the stage confidently and with great poise which included- Ankita- dancing on skates, Shivani- singing, Harsh- A classical performance, Saumya- a poetry on environment concerns, Riya and Malvika- a dance presentation and Ananya- a poetic piece on the power of resilience. The presentation was much appreciated equally by students, parents, teachers ams guests.
The report was followed by Confluence- an east with west musical that enthralled the audience with its foot tapping numbers and electric presentation.
The programme ended with the presentation by the original band of Suncity- The Phoenix. The band played eclectic mix of songs which made the audience croon along with them.
The Asst. Director- Mrs. Patima Gupta,mentioned in her address about the trust factor between the students and teachers and that the school is willing to go an extra mile for each child who makes a choice to be there at Suncity.
The Chairman and Director appreciated the event calling it essential for discovering the hidden talent of the new students and giving them a chance to chisel their talent making them confident individuals.
The event also has special messages by the Suncity hostel alumni who gave the new students their best wishes for their stay at Suncity hostel and how the school and hostel contributed in achieving and discovering their personalities leading to a successful career and life.
