Mr. Deepak Madhok
Chairman

An epitome of dynamic leadership Mr Deepak Madhok showed a keen scholastic aptitude throughout his schooling years that culminated in a Post Graduate degree in Biochemistry from Allahabad University. He subsequently joined the Provincial Civil Services of the state as an Administrative Officer Class I in June 1979. His versatility as an Administrator was ably reflected in a career span of 11 years wherein he held the coveted posts of Assistant/Deputy Administrator of the Municipal Corporation, Varanasi among many others. After his resignation from the services he took over the reigns of the Sunbeam Group and since then has redefined the term education in Eastern UP. Under his able guidance the Sunbeam Group now comprises of four schools of 10+2 level affiliated to the CBSE, a Women's College offering graduate programs in B Com, B Sc, BCA and BA affiliated to the VBS Purvanchal University and an Institute of Fashion Technology offering diploma courses in textiles and fashion design, affiliated to the IIFT, New Delhi. To sum up his philosophy in his favourite lines:

"the woods are lonely, dark and deep
but I have promises to keep
and miles to go before I sleep…"

Mrs. Bharti Madhok
Director

Mrs. Bharti Madhok : a name that has become synonymous with expanding the frontiers of school education and taking it to untouched horizons of excellence. Her sincere devotion towards the education of children, training and empowering of teachers, and inculcating a feeling of patriotism and a feel for the nation is widely recognized in educational circles. A keen sports enthusiast, she has represented Haryana at the National Level in cricket. A postgraduate degree in English Literature from Kurukshetra University has been perhaps the cornerstone for her penchant for literary pursuits.

She has been awarded ''International Women of the Year'' in the Year 2000 by the American Biographical Society and was also bestowed with educationist of the year award by the then government of UP. She has also been honored with the Rotary excellence award in 2004 for her outstanding work in the field of promotion of education and women's empowerment.
Her tremendous sense of social commitment has made her the Patron of many organizations viz. Banwasi Kanya Ashram, Varanasi Society for Women's upliftment, Kashi Anathalaya, Society for the welfare of the blind, Sunbeam Gramin School etc. who look up to her for guidance and support.

She has never believed in resting upon her laurels and achievements instead she believes that there is always a scope for improvement and innovation. Her one line philosophy for all her schools is:

"Make the children happy at school and learning will follow."

Mrs. Amrita Burman
Deputy Director

Born and brought up in Kolkatta ,Mrs.Amrita Burman completed her schooling from Modern High and then went on to do her graduation and post Graduation from Kolkatta itself. She also has done her MBA, the experience of which has been instrumental in inculcating in her leadership skills and values. She is a true linguist and is proficient in 5 languages including French. She has always had an inclination towards the education field and it finally materialized when she joined the Sunbeam Group some fifteen years back and since then she has been instrumental in making the Sunbeam Group the force to reckon with that it is today. Although all the schools that she administers are up to 10+2 level and have given trend setting results over the years, her heart lies in the Kindergarten section, an area which she specializes in. A person with varied interests, she loves reading, is a music connoisseur and loves to play badminton. She also is into motivational, performance enhancement and educational training for both staff and students.

A perfectionist to the core, she has never settled for anything less then total perfection in every sphere of human life , professional or personal.

Mrs. Pratima Gupta
Assistant Director

A person whose dedication and endeavour has given new horizon to Sunbeam Schools. Her keen interest in child psychology has made others understand the various lesser known facets of a 'student'. She has introduced many outside agencies/experts to the Group who have contributed in education of children, training and empowering of teachers. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling besides B.A., M.S.W. and M. Phil (PSW). She has been working as the Assistant Director, Sunbeam Group since 2003. Her tremendous capacity of extempore, public speaking and verbal composing has made her an ideal icon among students, staff and all. It is indeed a pleasure to have her as a leader in the Group.

Mr. Harsh Madhok
Executive Director

Mr. Harsh Madhok joined the Sunbeam Group of Educational Institutions as the Executive Director in the year 2004. He studied at the Woodstock School, Mussoorie and pursued his Masters at the Monash University, in Melbourne, Australia.

With an aim to integrate the present education system with advancements in the field of Information Technology as is done in most First World countries, he made a prominent place in the system in a small period of time. His interactions with students regarding latest trends in education, health, fitness, productivity, conduct, professionalism, effective living and a varied spectrum of sports, has contributed immensely to the Sunbeam Group's philosophy of 'holistic education'.

He has conducted Effective Living workshops in the campuses and has been a mentor for many a student on the Basketball Teams of different branches. He is also the President of the Roller Skating Association of Varanasi and has organised Trophies and Championships for the same.

He sees the Sunbeam of tomorrow taking major strides towards imparting not just conventional education but the values, ethics and expectations of contemporary India from its youth. “The Sunbeam of the new millennium cultivates a strong sense of integrity and responsibility coupled with a desire to succeed in the competitive global environment”, says Harsh Madhok.

Mrs. Neha Madhok
Director Academics

Joined the group in 2006. She did her MBA from Aston University, Birmingham, UK and Postgraduate Courses in International Business & Business Communication from Harvard University, Cambridge, USA. Quality and Development are her passion. Her interpersonal skills together with the ability to foresee and plan development have made her a much-revered administrator among her peers. Her relentless pursuit and her zeal to explore new horizons in education have established her in the group and in the city of Varanasi. She is directly looking into quality in academic delivery system of the five schools. Her focused vision and expert input in curriculum development and activity planning have brought about a spectrum of changes in various aspects of Sunbeam Schools.
